The team is a mix of seasoned entrepreneurs, growth-hackers and development and manufacturing teams in China and India. Our expertise is with innovative hardware (and software), state of the art technology, eco-systems and crowdfunding in general. 

We are looking for a designer to join our team and support campaigns with compelling and creative visual designs. Someone who both loves to work hands-on and is able to provide art direction to preferred suppliers (external agencies), our clients and ourselves.

Job description

As Creative Digital Designer (with knack for video!) you will play a vital role in visualizing new products (and how they can be used) to show their value in the best possible way across multiple digital channels and formats. You will support the launch of many different products and be the originator who develops the initial visual identity. Most of the day-to-day work will be developing all digital marketing materials supporting our campaigns and clients. Examples are designing and setting up landing pages, creating visual content for social media, creating product / lifestyle photos, producing short video clips, creating advertising assets, creating newsletter templates etc.

While your focus is on graphic design, there is a regular need for making impromptu videos (of prototypes for example), doing some light web development/design, illustrations / icons, infographics, animations, GIFs. You’re expected to have at least a basic understanding of these and willingness to learn and develop yourself into an all-round design powerhouse.


We would love to meet Creative Digital Designers with the following skills:

Design chops

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other creation tools. Sketch is bonus


Basic level of video production / editing capabilities (Premiere, After effects, Final Cut or others)

Digital design standards

Intimate knowledge of current web / online graphics (and video) standards and best practices

Brand marketing

Good general understanding of brand development and (multichannel) marketing concepts

Creative, experimental, data driven

  • Creative and able to design in a range of different styles
  • Not afraid to experiment and push boundaries – but keeping an eye on best practices and conversion

Get shit done mentality

Able to work with short time lines and deliver quality results from ad hoc requests

Do you have what it takes?

Flexible team-player who is comfortable interacting with clients and young and ambitious internal staff


  • Proficient English writer and speaker
  • Comfortable pushing back on bad briefs or tactics you know are ineffective and suggest better alternatives - while maintaining momentum and good relations 
  • Able to manage expectations (provide estimates (hrs), communicate delivery times and changes) 
  • Able to translate briefs into compelling designs that convert

Taking key lessons learned from previous product launches we take new products, inventions or even ideas to a completion stage ready for launch, using platforms such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter. Our expertise is with innovative hardware (and software), state of the art technology, eco-systems and crowdfunding in general. 

We have built up teams in China (hardware manufacturing and mass production), India (software development) and Rotterdam (marketing and product management) as such our team is extremely international. We help start-ups, single entrepreneurs, corporates and people with ideas to validate their products, and develop or optimize their branding, story, creatives, audience, community, finance, strategy and sourcing. We envision being able to launch products weekly, with unique stories and solving real problems for people around the world.
